Heard Museum Presents: Frida Kahlo & Diego Rivera

Art enthusiasts from all across the Phoenix Metropolitan Area are encouraged to come check out the Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera exhibit currently on display at the Heard Museum in Phoenix. Running now until August 20, 2017, there’s no better time than the present to experience a series of art pieces from these famed Mexican artists.

Known as two of the most important artists of the 20th century, Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera were truly revolutionary. Their traveling exhibit, which features 33 unique works by the artists, is in the middle of a world tour, and Phoenix is the only North American stop, making its run at the Heard Museum a rare opportunity. Art pieces a part of the exhibit include Kahlo’s “Self Portrait with Monkeys” and “Diego on My Mind, “ as well as Rivera’s “Sunflowers” and “Calla Lily Vendor.” Guests will also be able to view a number of photographs taken by various individuals, including Kahlo’s father, Guillermo Kahlo.
