The ADX is an extra-small luxury SUV, while the RDX is a slightly larger small SUV. The ADX stands out for its nimble handling and optimal size for navigating tight spaces. The RDX offers a bit more cabin and cargo space, and it emphasizes performance for a fun driving experience. Performance
No matter which trim you get, the 2026 ADX lineup has the same mechanical configuration across the board. This year's ADX is powered by a 1.5L turbo engine with four cylinders. This engine's maximum power output is 190 horsepower, and it delivers up to 179 pound-feet of torque. This engine comes with a continuously variable automatic transmission. Front-wheel drive is standard with the ADX, but you can opt for all-wheel drive instead.
The 2026 RDX also has a uniform mechanical configuration across the board. The RDX is powered by a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine that produces up to 272 horsepower and 280 pound-feet of torque. The RDX's engine is paired with an automatic 10-speed transmission, and its standard drivetrain is all-wheel drive.
Appearance
The Acura ADX has a sporty appearance with some variations across the lineup.
The base model features 18-inch alloy wheels, a power liftgate, heated exterior mirrors, and a sunroof. Next, the A-Spec gets a panoramic sunroof, fog lights, sporty exterior accents, and larger 19-inch wheels. The A-Spec Advance has rain-sensing wipers, a hands-free power liftgate, and power-folding side mirrors.
The RDX starts with a panoramic sunroof and black 19-inch wheels-the A-Spec adds larger 20-inch wheels with a dark gray finish and sporty accents inside and out. The Advance gets exclusive 19-inch wheels.
