The luxurious Acura TLX sports sedan is back on the market for the 2017 model and currently available at Acura of Peoria. Once again offering premium refinement, exceptional performance, great styling and a host of first-class amenities, the TLX continues to be an impressive model in its class.
With most components carried over this year, the 2017 Acura TLX only bears slight updates. The sedan receives three fresh exterior paint colors - Modern Steel Metallic, San Marino Red and Lunar Metallic - as well as a newly available ebony black interior with either a Fathom Blue Pearl or San Marino Red exterior. Outside of these changes, the car comes with a series of excellent technologies, including Smart Entry/Push Button Start, Acura Navigation System with 3D view, Bluetooth, automatic climate control, Siri Eyes Free and HD Radio.
Like last year’s model, the 2017 TLX once again offers a 2.4L DOHC i-VTEC in-line 4 and a direct-injected 3.5L SOHC i-VTEC V6. The in-line 4 is paired with an 8-speed Dual Clutch Transmission, and delivers 206 horsepower and 182 lb.-ft. of torque, while the V6 is matched with a 9-speed automatic transmission, and produces 290 horsepower and 267 lb.-ft. of torque. The 2.4L in-line is the most fuel-efficient option – it delivers an EPA-estimated 24 city, 34 highway and 28 combined mpg.
