Specs at a Glance

In 2021, the RDX debuts a new trim level called the PMC Edition. This trim brings some exciting updates and additions to the RDX. The SUV also has a spacious cargo and cabin area that provides ample room for people and belongings. Performance is spot-on with the RDX as well, which has sharp handling and steering credentials. Rather than a traditional trim lineup, the Acura RDX offers a base trim level that can be enhanced and customized with various packages, including the Advance package that gives the Acura RDX even more amenities.

All versions of the Acura RDX have the same engine in 2021. They are powered by a turbo 2.0L engine with four cylinders. The RDX's engine has a standard power output of 272 HP across the board. Its maximum torque output is 280 LB-FT at all trim levels. You'll get an automatic transmission with ten speeds no matter which version of the RDX you choose. Although front-wheel drive is the SUV's standard drivetrain, you can select all-wheel drive as an alternative drivetrain instead.

With the Acura RDX base trim level comes a stylish exterior that can be enhanced and personalized by adding on more through the Advance package. With the standard trim, you'll get a panoramic sunroof and 19-inch wheels. Even larger wheels sized 20 inches come with the Advance package offered as an upgrade. The Advance also has black accents across its exterior for a distinguished appearance. A hands-free liftgate is also standard.

Several features are offered at the base level, with even more included when you order the Advance package. To begin with, the base trim has a 10.2-inch infotainment display with a touchpad control system. It has an onboard WiFi hotspot, along with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay smartphone integration. Keyless entry is standard. The base trim also has heated front seats and simulated leather for its upholstery. The Advance package comes with even more high-end tech features, including a head-up display. It also has a premium 16-speaker stereo. Heated seats extend to the back row, and the seats are finished in leather. Wood trim accents in the cabin give it a sophisticated and upscale look, while adaptive suspension dampers provide a smooth ride and exceptional handling.
