Specs at a Glance
Acura takes great pride in offering some of today's highest-rated luxury SUVs. Designed to offer an outstanding blend of comfort and sportiness, the A-Spec® trim levels are especially popular. If you're in the market for a new SUV, the 2024 Acura RDX A-Spec® and the 2024 Acura ZDX A-Spec® deserve serious consideration. Here's an overview of how these two models compare.
Performance
Motivating RDX A-Spec® is a 2.0-liter, VTEC Turbo four-cylinder engine. It's rated to develop an entertaining 272 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. A 10-speed automatic transmission helps ensure optimum performance. Acura's torque-vectoring Super Handling AWD also comes standard, which enhances traction and acceleration. Choose between Comfort, Sport, Normal, and Snow driving modes.
The ZDX A-Spec® is powered by a single-motor electric powertrain, producing a potent 358 horsepower. In contrast to the RDX A-Spec®, this SUV has a standard rear-wheel drive system. However, an optional dual-motor AWD system increases production to an exhilarating 490 horsepower. While the RDX A-Spec® is rated to tow up to 1,500 pounds, the ZDX A-Spec® has a maximum towing capacity of 3,500 pounds.
Appearance
Regardless of which SUV you choose, look forward to being behind the wheel of a stylish ride. The RDX A-Spec® has an aggressive design that demands a lot of attention. While 20-inch Shark Gray alloy wheels ensure a powerful stance, large exhaust tips add to the SUV's sportiness. Jewel Eye LED Headlights also come standard. You can choose from several eye-catching exterior colors, including Apex Blue Pearl and Performance Red Pearl.
The ZDX A-Spec® has a bold styling that helps it stand out in any parking lot. An illuminated Seamless Pentagon Grille gives the SUV a special touch. It also comes standard with 20-inch alloy wheels.
Features
The RDX A-Spec® has a list of standard equipment that includes several great features. Its infotainment system provides a 10.2-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Heated and ventilated front seats allow passengers to experience excellent comfort. Meanwhile, an ELS Studio premium audio system treats music fans to captivating sound. Other niceties include wireless charging, navigation, and perforated Milano premium leather seats.
The ZDX A-Spec® has a cabin that is just as impressive. It features a standard 11.3-inch infotainment display, a 14-speaker Bang & Olufsen stereo system, leather upholstery, and climate-controlled seats.
