Specs at a Glance
The 2024 Acura RDX is an upscale SUV that was designed with the needs of today's drivers in mind. Five trim levels are available to make it easier for individual drivers to get the exact features they need. While all the trims have some things in common, such as a cutting-edge infotainment system and a turbocharged engine, several things set the different trims apart. Here is your guide to the differences and similarities between the RDX Base and the RDX Advance model.
Performance
Under the hood of each of the 2024 Acura trim levels is a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder engine capable of making 272 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. Acura has paired this with a 10-speed automatic transmission for an exhilarating experience at the wheel. All-wheel drive is also standard across the board.
Appearance
The base RDX has 19-inch wheels to ride around on. It is also equipped with nice touches, such as a panoramic sunroof and keyless entry and ignition. A hands-free power liftgate and black wheels are available options for the base model. When looking at the RDX Advance trim, drivers find rain-sensing windshield wipers and power-folding side mirrors. The RDX Advance trim level also has the hands-free liftgate as a standard feature.
Features
Sophisticated interior features are standard for the RDX Base, starting with synthetic leather upholstery and heated front seats. A 7-inch digital instrument display and a 10.2-inch touchscreen are included as well, and drivers can keep in touch with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. When it comes to protecting drivers and their loved ones, the entry-level RDX has pedestrian detection, road-departure mitigation, adaptive cruise control, and automatic high beams.
The Advance trim level of the 2024 RDX takes luxury to a new level with a heated steering wheel and heated front seats. An adaptive suspension is also standard for this model, providing an even smoother ride. A head-up display is further added to help drivers keep their eyes on the road.
