Specs at a Glance
Already one of the most appealing SUVs in its class, the Acura RDX returns for 2025 with some key updates. Not only does this premium sport crossover have a refreshed look, but it also benefits from an enhanced infotainment system. Impressive performance capabilities and top-notch comfort make the new model even more rewarding. Let's find out how the RDX Technology Package compares to the RDX Advance Package.
Performance
These two RDX trims offer a great driving experience. They both are powered by a 2.0-liter turbo VTEC four-cylinder engine rated to develop an impressive 272 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. This engine is mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. Like the RDX Technology Package, the RDX Advance Package comes standard with a Super Handling All-Wheel Drive. Aside from promoting superior traction, this torque-vectoring AWD system also enhances the SUV's cornering performance.
A key difference is the RDX Advance Package's Adaptive Damper System. As the road conditions change, suspension responsiveness can instantly be adjusted to ensure optimum comfort and agility. You can choose from three different damping profiles.
Appearance
The RDX Technology Package has a striking appearance. Its revised front fascia features a new grille with a mesh insert. Acura's signature Jewel Eye LED Headlights add more flair. On the rear, dual exhaust outlets and LED "Dragon Tail" taillights bolster the SUV's curb appeal. An attractive set of 19-inch machine-finished wheels also comes with the Technology Package trim. Six exterior colors are available, including Performance Red Pearl.
While the RDX Advance trim looks similar, it adds LED fog lights, LED puddle lights, and a different set of 19-inch wheels.
Features
Several premium features are found on the RDX Technology. Its True Touchpad Interface infotainment system boasts a 10.2-inch full HD screen with navigation. Creature comforts, such as heated front sport seats and GPS-linked climate control, help ensure a relaxing drive. Other highlights include wireless smartphone charging, keyless access, and a WI-Fi hotspot.
Featuring authentic open-pore wood and full-leather upholstery, the RDX Advance Package's cabin looks even more upscale. While its ventilated front seats will cool you down on hot days, a surround-view camera system makes parking less challenging. This trim also receives a 16-speaker ELS Studio 3D premium sound system, a head-up display, and rain-sensing wipers.
