Specs at a Glance

You're invited to test-drive the new 2026 Acura Integra. This premium sport compact's engaging driving dynamics, cutting-edge tech, superior comfort, and upscale styling promise to impress. Some Acura fans will be deciding between the Integra Base and the Integra Type S. Let's take a look at how these two trims compare.

Performance

The Integra Base packs more than enough performance to keep you entertained. It features a 1.5-liter, turbocharged VTEC four-cylinder engine. Acura rates the engine at 200 horsepower and 192 lb-ft of torque. A continuously variable transmission (CVT) powers the front wheels. An Integrated Dynamics System allows you to choose from three driving modes: Comfort, Normal, and Sport.

The racier Integra Type S brings an elevated level of performance. Underneath its hood sits an exhilarating 2.0-liter, VTEC turbocharged four-cylinder engine. Acura tunes it to deliver 320 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque, resulting in blistering acceleration. A close-ratio, six-speed manual gearbox delivers precise shifting. Some of the Type S trim's other motorsport-inspired goodies include a sophisticated Dual-Axis Strut front suspension, a limited-slip front differential, and Brembo front brakes.

Appearance

Acura designed the Integra to be a serious head-turner. Even the Integra Base stands out from the crowd. Not only does the car's sporty liftback design look eye-catching, but it also creates extra cargo space. Signature styling cues, such as Jewel LED headlights and a frameless Diamond Pentagon Grille, enable the Integra to make a bold statement. You'll also notice the base trim's sporty 17-inch alloy wheels.

There's no overlooking the Type S trim's more aggressive exterior. Wide fender flares accentuate this race-bred trim's menacing stance. Other attention-grabbing features include triple exhaust outlets, enlarged front air ducts, and exclusive 19-inch alloy wheels with high-performance tires.

Features

Several great features come equipped on the Integra Base. Acura's modern infotainment system features a 7.0-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay®/Android Auto®  smartphone integration. Meanwhile, leatherette-trimmed front seats add an upscale touch to the cabin. Other highlights include an eight-speaker premium audio system, a 10.2-inch Acura Precision Cockpit digital gauge cluster, and AcuraWatch safety features.

Aside from its sportier interior, the Integra Type S also features some high-end upgrades. While music fans will enjoy the powerful-sounding ELS Studio premium audio system, a head-up display puts key driving information directly in your line of sight.
