Specs at a Glance
The 2026 Acura RDX is a premium sport crossover. Not only does it offer a comfortable and luxurious driving experience, but it also boasts sufficient performance to get your adrenaline pumping. There are multiple trim levels to choose from. Let's take a look at how the RDX Base compares to the RDX A-Spec Advance.
Performance
Both of these RDX trims come equipped with a 2.0-liter, VTEC turbo four-cylinder engine. It's rated to develop 272 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. This dynamic engine is paired with a 10-speed automatic transmission. Acura's torque-vectoring Super Handling All-Wheel Drive™ system comes standard throughout the lineup.
In contrast to the RDX Base, the RDX A-Spec Advance features an adaptive damper suspension system. This means you can customize the A-Spec Advance trim's ride and handling. While the Comfort mode is great for highway cruising, switching to the Sport mode stiffens the dampers to reduce body roll.
Appearance
The RDX Base isn't your typical entry-level trim. It has the appearance of a high-end model. Stylish features, such as Jewel Eye LED headlights and 19-inch black alloy wheels, contribute to the RDX Base's striking appearance.
When checking out the RDX A-Spec Advance, you'll notice its sport appearance package. To give this racy trim an especially aggressive stance, Acura outfits it with exclusive 20-inch machine-finished wheels. LED fog lights and LED puddle lights further set apart the A-Spec Advance trim. Additional exterior color options are also available.
Features
The base model doesn't force you to make any compromises in terms of comfort. Premium amenities, including a panoramic roof and 12-way power-adjustable front seats with heating functions, come standard. Acura's True Touchpad Interface is destined to become one of your favorite tech features. It boasts a 10.2-inch full HD center display with Apple CarPlay®/Android Auto® smartphone connectivity. Other standard equipment includes a nine-speaker audio system, a wireless charger, and AcuraWatch driver-assistance features.
Some high-end upgrades are found on the top-of-the-line A-Spec Advance trim. While its surround-view camera system makes it easier to spot parking lot obstacles, music fans will appreciate the 16-speaker ELS Studio 3D® premium audio system. To take comfort to the next stage, Acura adds GPS-linked climate control and 16-way power-adjustable front seats with ventilation. Other highlights include a head-up display, rain-sensing wipers, and remote engine start.
