Airbag Fault
You will see this light if a problem exists in the system that runs your airbags and seat belts. If it appears, seek service as soon as you can. You do not want anything to cause these safety features not to work if you need them.
Low Fuel Level Warning Light
When this light shines, you need to stop for gas. In many cars, it comes on when your gas tank has about one gallon left.
Oil Pressure Warning Light
If your oil pressure runs low, you will see this indicator. As soon as safely possible, park your car. Check your oil level. If it is fine, seek service because you likely have an issue with your oil pump.
Service Vehicle Soon
As you reach the mileage amount at which your car maker recommends an oil change, this light will glow. Schedule a service appointment when you see it. Your tech should also rotate your tires and perform any prescribed maintenance for your current mileage level.
TPMS (Tire Pressure Monitoring System)
This indicator is attached to the sensors that check your tires' air pressure. If it lights, your air is low in one or more tires. Do not drive far or fast when you see this light. Check your tires, and add air where needed.
Slip Indicator
You will see this indicator if your car's traction systems engage. It only glows while these systems are active. If the light stays lit despite normal driving conditions, you need service.
Charging System Warning Light
This indicator flashes every time we start our cars. If you see it any other time, your battery has a charging problem. You will need service on your battery, your alternator, your fan belt, or another piece of your charging system.
Brake System
You'll see this when a fault exists in your brake system. Do not drive for an extended distance with this indicator lit. Seek prompt service.
