The Acura NSX has beat out eight of the world’s top sports cars to be named Road & Track’s Performance Car of the Year. Praised for its immaculate styling, technologies, and of course, its performance, the NSX is one of the hottest new cars to land on the market for 2017.
"Every aspect of the new NSX—acceleration, braking and cornering—is a precise, new experience," said Jon Ikeda, vice president and general manager of Acura. "Having the NSX recognized by Road & Track's esteemed group of evaluators is not only a great honor for the car, but a testament to the skill, determination and challenging spirit of our team—we are immensely proud."
The Acura NSX endured four days of rigorous testing before being crowned Road & Track’s top performance car. The model evaluated donned a Valencia Red Pearl paint job, carbon fiber roof, rear decked spoiler, black brake calipers, Pirelli tires and y-spoke wheels. Inside, the sports car featured red leather Alcantara powered seats, an Interior Sport Package and a premium sound system. It also produced 573 horsepower from a twin-turbo engine and was configured with all-wheel drive.
