Upcoming Acura Electric Vehicles

If you're a fan of Audis, Volkswagens, Porsches, or BMWs, get ready for something new: an all-electric GM-built Acura. It is slated for release in 2024.

The electric car will be available to consumers in North America and China. The new Acura is expected to give Tesla a run for its money. According to specs released by GM, the car will be using the Ultium platform. It has battery sizes ranging from 50-and 200 kilowatts with a range of up to 400 miles. So far, there's been no word on whether it will be available in other markets. Stay tuned for updates!

A Closer Look at the Acura GM Built

The upcoming electric car from Acura is undoubtedly one that has been garnering a lot of attention recently. As we all know, Tesla has had a monopoly in the electric car market. However, GM is finally ready to take them on with their new Acura electric car.

Interestingly enough, this isn't the first time GM has tried to venture into the electric car market. Back in 2010, they released the Chevy Volt. Unfortunately, while the car was praised for its fuel efficiency, it couldn't dent Tesla's sales.

The new Acura is undoubtedly a different story, though. With its sleek design and impressive specs, it's a car that other manufacturers should be worried about in the future.

One of the main selling points of the new Acura is its competitive price tag. Tesla's cars are notoriously expensive. For example, the cheapest model, the Model 3, starts at $35,000. In contrast, the new Acura is expected to start at around $30,000.

Another thing that the new Acura has going for it is its availability. Tesla's cars are only available in select markets. On the other hand, the new Acura will be available in North America and China.

This Ultium platform is the same platform used for the Cadillac Lyriq, GMC Hummer EV, and Chevy Bolt EUV.

The new Acura is set to be released in 2024. But, so far, there's no word on when or if it will be available in other markets.
