During the 104th Running of The Broadmoor Pikes Peak International Hill Climb in June, the Acura Integra Type S DE5 set a groundbreaking milestone by ascending to the 14,115-foot summit nearly 15 seconds faster than the previous front-wheel drive course record.
Piloted by two-time Formula Drift champion and HRC US driver Dai Yoshihara, the Integra Type S DE5 navigated the demanding 12.42-mile course in an impressive 10:33.174, securing a sixth-place finish in the competitive Time Attack 1 division. This achievement eclipsed the previous front-wheel drive benchmark of 10:48.094, set in 2018 by Honda R&D engineer Nick Robinson behind the wheel of an Acura TLX A-Spec.
