Specs at a Glance

The 2023 Acura TLX continues to provide a fun time. Not only does this premium sports sedan offer an exciting level of performance, but it also has an especially stylish design. Great passenger comfort gives the new TLX another edge over the competition. Here's how the base TLX compares to the TLX Technology.

Performance

Whether you choose the base TLX or the TLX Technology, you can look forward to enjoying a great driving experience. Both trims are powered by a lively 2.0-liter VTEC turbo four-cylinder engine. It's rated to press out 272 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. A prompt-shifting, 10-speed automatic transmission helps ensure peak performance. Acura's Integrated Dynamics System allows you to select four unique driving modes. While most people will be happy with the TLX's standard FWD system, an optional Super Handling AWD system elevates the sedan's cornering capabilities.

Appearance

Even the base TLX demands a lot of attention on the street. Its sculpted design will cause onlookers to take notice. Acura's signature Jewel Eye LED headlights and stylish 18-inch alloy wheels come standard. Available paint colors include Modern Steel Metallic, Majestic Black Pearl, Lunar Silver Metallic, and Platinum White Pearl. To give the TLX Technology a bolder stance, Acura equips it with larger 19-inch alloy wheels. Performance Red Pearl is also added to the TLX Technology's list of available exterior colors.

Features

Most people will be perfectly pleased with the base TLX's standard equipment. Acura's True Touchpad Interface makes it easy for you to stay connected while on the road. It features a 10.2-inch HD display with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration. A power sunroof makes the base TLX an even greater bang for the buck. Several creature comforts are found on the base trim, including heated front sport seats with power lumbar support and dual-zone automatic climate control. Standard AcuraWatch also equips the sedan with today's most sought-after safety features.

The TLX Technology is more luxurious. While a 13-speaker ELS Studio premium audio system brings concert-quality sound, blind-spot monitoring makes you more aware of nearby vehicles. Other key upgrades include navigation with real-time traffic updates, parking sensors, and GPS-linked climate control.
