2024 Acura ZDX A-Spec vs 2024 Acura ZDX Type S

The all-electric SUV market is growing every day, and the 2024 Acura ZDX gets it right. It has a high-performance, reliable, and durable all-electric powertrain and a more glamorous design than other EV SUVs. We will compare the A-Spec and Type S trims of the all-electric 2024 Acura ZDX to help you understand their differences and decide which might be the right choice for you.

Performance

The ZDX is available in both single and dual-motor designs. A-Spec trims with a single motor design have 358 horsepower. With a dual-motor design, an A-Spec can max out at 490 horsepower. Type S trims have a standard dual-motor design and get 500 horsepower. Torque will also vary, with A-Spec RWD configurations boasting 324 lb-ft of torque and A-Spec AWD dual-motor designs getting 437 lb-ft of torque. The Type S boasts 544 lb-ft of torque standard.

Appearance

All Acura SUVs have a luxurious flow to them. The hood rises but never too much and flows into a grille that's heavy in body color. Striking LED headlamps and a lower blacked-out bumper are also signatures of the ZDX. The A-Spec and Type S boast a panoramic moonroof with tilt and slide, Jewel Eye LED headlamps, and Chicane LED taillights. Type S models pick up sportier features like a gloss black roof and available Sport appearance package availability. Pictures aren't powerful enough to express how elegant the new ZDX looks. It's best to see them up close at our dealership to get a true picture of how they both differ in appearance.

Features

The list of standard features for the Acura ZDX is very long. All trims come with an 11.3-inch color touchscreen display, an 18-speaker premium BANG & OLUFSEN sound system, and a wireless device charger. Seating greatly differs, though, with the A-Spec boasting perforated Milano premium leather-trimmed seats and the Type S picking up these same seats but with a bold embossed Type S logo. Both get heated and ventilated front seats, but Type S seating adds 16-way power seats with power lumbar support. Only Type S trims come with tri-zone automatic climate control and driver-assist features like Hands-Free Cruise, Automatic Parking Assist, and Rear Pedestrian Alert. If you're picky about the little - and big - things, a test drive of both trims will make your trim decision easier.
