Specs at a Glance

The 2025 Acura RDX is among the highest-rated SUVs in its class. Aside from allowing you to experience an upscale driving experience, this premium sport crossover also looks especially stylish. Some drivers will choose between the A-Spec and A-Spec Advance trim levels when shopping for a new RDX. Let's take a look at how these two trims compare.

Performance

Whether you choose the RDX A-Spec or the RDX A-Spec Advance, you'll enjoy strong acceleration. Both trims are motivated by a 2.0-liter, turbocharged four-cylinder engine. It elevates driving excitement by producing 272 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. A 10-speed automatic transmission enables you to enjoy seamless performance. Acura's torque-vectoring Super Handling AWD system also comes standard on both trims.

The RDX A-Spec Advance's adaptive suspension sets it apart. This feature allows you to easily customize the SUV's ride and handling.

Appearance

Many people are drawn to the RDX A-Spec's sporty aesthetics. Its aggressive design is bound to grab your attention. Gloss-black exterior accents and muscular bodywork help it to stand out. A set of 20-inch Shark Gray alloy wheels also accentuate the SUV's athletic stance. In the rear, large-bore exhaust tips add a powerful touch. Some premium paint colors include Apex Blue Pearl, Performance Red Pearl, and Platinum White Pearl.

The A-Spec Advance trim features some of the same eye-catching styling cues. However, Acura equips it with an exclusive 20-inch Berlina Black alloy wheelset. Power-folding mirrors and LED puddle lights further set apart the RDX A-Spec Advance.

Features

The RDX A-Spec welcomes you to a performance-inspired cabin with ventilated sport seats and a flat-bottom sport steering wheel. Perforated Milano leather upholstery also gives the interior a high-end feel. You will be surrounded by modern tech features, including a 12.3-inch Precision Cockpit digital gauge cluster and a 10.2-inch infotainment screen with wireless Apple CarPlay/Android Auto smartphone connectivity. Other highlights include GPS-linked climate control, a 16-speaker ELS Studio 3D sound system, and a panoramic sunroof.

The A-Spec Advance trim comes equipped with more niceties. A 10.5-inch head-up display puts key driving info in your direct line of sight, and a surround-view camera system makes parking less challenging. Other upgrades include massaged front seats, remote engine start, heated second-row seats, and rain-sensing wipers.
