Acura ILX Service Intervals

What Is the Acura ILX Maintenance Schedule?

To maintain the health of your Acura ILX, you'll need to adhere to the manufacturer-recommended service intervals. These service intervals are typically based on time or distance, or a combination of the two.

Like many other Acura models, the ILX requires scheduled maintenance to keep it running in top condition. The ILX's maintenance schedule is typically followed every 7,500 miles or six months, whichever comes first. In addition, the following services are included in the ILX's maintenance schedule.

15,000-Mile Service

It is usually when your Acura ILX will need an oil change and tire rotation. Air and cabin filters may need to be changed at this interval.  Also, depending on how you drive, the breaks may need to be inspected and adjusted. 

The safety features should also be checked, including the brake fluid, horn, and headlight aim. It would be best if you also had the cabin air filter replaced.

Your Owner's Manual will specify the type of oil used in your car and the recommended tires for it.

30,000-Mile Service

In addition to the services at 15,000 miles, the 30,000-mile service includes an inspection of your air filter and fuel filter. Transmission fluid may need to be serviced at this interval.  If they need to be replaced, we will do that at this time. We will also inspect the spark plugs and drive belts and, if necessary, replace them.

60,000-Mile Service

The 60,000-mile service includes a complete check of all your fluids, including the brake and power steering fluids, engine coolant, and automatic transmission fluid. The brake pads will also be inspected and replaced if needed.

90,000-Mile Service

The 90,000-mile service includes:

• An engine oil and filter change.
• A system inspection.
• The replacement of the spark plugs.

Also, hoses, spark plugs, and drive belts will be inspected and replaced if they are worn.
