What's New For the 2020 Acura RLX?
Although the RLX has been around for seven model years as Acura's full-size four-door sedan offering, it is still in its first production cycle. The 2020 model year presents no changes for the vehicle, which is often praised for its long list of standard safety and convenience equipment.

2020 Acura RLX is Impressive No Matter Which Trim You Choose
The 2020 Acura RLX is available with a Technology Package and an Advance Package. Active Noise Control technology, front-seat heating and 12-way power adjustability with 4-way power lumbar support, and perforated leather upholstery with contrast stitching and piping are standard. If you go with the Advance Package trim level, the RLX is enhanced with front-seat cooling and steering-wheel and rear-seat heating.
Standard comfort and convenience features on the RLX include tri-zone automatic climate control, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, a garage-door opener, keyless access with push-button engine ignition, Bluetooth hands-free phone calling and audio streaming, a color multi-information display, hands-free texting ability, Siri Eyes Free, a USB port and an auxiliary audio jack for playing media from mobile devices.
Also included is a trial subscription to SiriusXM radio, Song by Voice for helping you select and play music from a smartphone or USB-connected drive, HD Radio technology, navigation, and a 14-speaker stereo system with a multi-touch screen for displaying information.
Also included is the Acura Connected Services package for functions and services such as remote lock and unlock, real-time traffic information, stolen vehicle locator, and emergency notifications. On the Advance Package, Acura enhances the sedan with a head-up display and electric air conditioning.
How Well does the 2020 RLX Perform?
Under the hood of the 2020 Acura RLX is a 3.5-liter V6 that produces 310 horsepower and up to 273 lb-ft of torque. However, the Advance Package stands apart from the Technology Package in that its engine has idle-stop technology. This means that the engine will shut down when at a complete stop and start back when you resume driving to avoid unnecessary fuel consumption. The V6 engine is hitched to a 10-speed automatic transmission, with paddle shifters mounted on the steering wheel for a more exciting driving feel.
2020 Acura RLX has an Abundance of Safety Features
The standard safety features on the 2020 Acura RLX include driver-assistance technologies such as adaptive cruise control with low-speed follow setting, a blind spot monitoring system with a rear cross-traffic monitor, collision mitigation braking, lane-keeping assist, road departure mitigation, traffic jam assist, forward collision warning, and lane departure warning. Other standard safety features include a seven-airbag system, a rearview camera, vehicle stability assist with traction control, four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, hill start assist, electric brake-force distribution, brake assist, LED daytime running lights, and a theft-deterrent system.
