Every year, automakers debut new vehicles at the prestigious Monterey Car Week. This year, Acura's turn was to showcase an exciting upcoming vehicle. In late 2026, the automaker plans to debut the Acura RSX, a new electric vehicle. The RSX is an innovative vehicle in many respects, including being Acura's first-ever exclusive electric car, which is not made in partnership with any other brand.

 
Honda is a global leader in the auto industry. Unsurprisingly, they are now leading the way in manufacturing electric vehicles. They own an electric vehicle manufacturing plant in Ohio called the Honda EV Hub. By the end of 2025, Honda announced that its innovative EV manufacturing hub will produce the Acura RSX, an all-new electric SUV offered by Acura. Honda has proudly announced that the RSX will be the first electric vehicle produced at its Midwest EV hub.

 
Like many automakers, Acura has pledged to create vehicles that rely on electricity instead of gas. Recently, their performance electric vehicle (EV) debuted at Monterey Car Week, one of the better-known events held throughout the year.
