What's New for the 2023 Acura MDX?

The 2023 Acura MDX doesn't have a lot of changes due to the redesign it underwent with the previous model that was released in 2022. Drivers can now enjoy AcuraLink, which comes standard on each trim.

The 2023 Acura MDX has six different trims available. The model offers the MDX, Technology, A-Spec, Advance, Type S, and Type S Advance.

A high level of connectivity is offered with the Acura MDX. The driver can stay connected to their smartphone with the use of Android Auto or Apple CarPlay. Additional features in the cabin include an HD radio, XM radio, and a 12.3-inch infotainment display, which comes with a remote touchpad. Amazon Alexa is one of the most advanced features that is offered in the MDX, allowing the driver to perform voice commands to adjust the settings or use different features.

2023 Acura MDX Horsepower

The new 2023 Acura MDX comes with a base 3.5-liter V6 engine, which generates 290 horsepower with 267 pound-feet of torque. Those who select the Type S models can take advantage of a 3.0-liter V6 engine for 355 horsepower with 354 pound-feet of torque.

This model comes standard with front-wheel drive and has an available Super-Handling All-Wheel-Drive system for drivers who are seeking heightened performance. The system offers more stability and extra torque.

2023 Acura MDX Safety

The vehicle is well-equipped with some of the most advanced safety features in the industry, including parking sensors, automatic emergency braking, active cruise control, traffic sign recognition, and blind-spot detection. Automatic high beams also come standard to improve visibility in front of the vehicle in dim settings. Surround-view cameras are also an available feature for those who want to eliminate blind spots. Crash tests that were conducted by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration found the model to offer a high level of safety and allowed the vehicle to earn a five-star rating.
